Patchouli originated in South East Asia & has been used for hundreds of years in medicine & aromatherapy. Patchouli became very popular in the sixties and seventies where its rich earthy overtones epitomised the era of love art, rebellion, nature and the free spirit.

Sandalwood is a one of the oldest aromatherapy based scents. Used by both the ancient chinese and the ancient Egyptians. Its is still used today in temples of worship. In Buddhism sandalwood is used to help focus in meditation sessions. The scent is also used in Hinduism and other Japanese and Chinese religions.
