Lemon Myrtle is a native Australian tree becoming quite popular these days because of it's array of uses in food, aromatherapy, pharmaceutics and cosmetics. Our local farmers in the hills surrounding Byron Bay harvest the Lemon Myrtle essential oil we use in our candles.
Bundjalung is the name of our local Aboriginal Nation. The various Bundjalung Tribes inhabit the area from Logan river in southeast Queensland, as far south as the Clarence River in northern NSW and west to the great dividing range. Current evidence indicates the Bundjalung tribes have occupied the area for more then 8000 years.

The blend uses just the right amount of Australian Beeswax for beautiful textures; two types of WWF certified vegetable waxes for hardening and longevity purposes. And the highest quality (food-grade- non toxic) paraffin wax to give the beautiful bright orange glow in our candle flames. When the candle burns down, the wax is melted away revealing the stones at the base of the candle. The flame will glisten amongst the rocks until it eventually goes out. Just beautiful.  |
